Waterfall Explosion Box

Today we are working on a waterfall explosion box that is so simple you will wonder why you didn't make this a while ago. Great for gifts and we have Mothers day and Fathers Day coming up you know. Below are the measurements. If you make this project we would love to have you share it on our Facebook page this link is below.

YouTube tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQi_XTcHplw

Start with a 12x12 piece of cardstock score at 4, 8 and turn one turn and score at 4,8.

Mats for these pieces are 3 3/4x 3 3/4 inches you will need 4 for each side. So 8 total.

Waterfall pieces are cut at 3 1/2x4 score on the long side at 3 1/2 inches.

Mats for waterfall pieces are cut at 3 1/4x3 1/4 inches, you will need 8 of these.

Start the waterfall pieces 1/4" from top and sides of the flap. Then every 1/4" from there on down.

Top is a 6x6 piece of cardstock. Pull out from the edge of the score board a little bit maybe 1/16" of an inch and score at 1" all the way around.  Mat for top is cut at 3 3/4"x3 3/4" and the small mats for the sides is cut at 3/4"x3 3/4".

Cut up on the score lines at the edges to for the small flaps and wedge a small bit and you are finished.  Put glue on the flaps and you are finished.

Decorate as you wish.
