Mats are cut at 4x5 1/4 inches you will need two for outside and two for inside.

Wallet Cascading Mini Album

This is a project that was created in the spur of the moment. I just saw a photo on pinterest and wanted to give it a shot. There was no link or instructions so I just guessed at it and made it the size I wanted. Hope you enjoy. I am calling it the Wallet Cascading Mini Album.

YouTube video tutorial: https://youtu.be/eAggGAQEXTk

Measurements:

Start with two pieces of paper that are 5"x12" I ended up cutting one of the panels off so you could go with a 5"x12" and a 5"x9". Score at 3, 6, 9 on both. Fold accordion style.

Cut 2 pieces that are 3"x4 1/2" score on the long side at 3/4", 7/8, 1", 1 1/8", 1 1/4", 1 3/8" - do this on both pieces. Use a pencil to make these curve when the score lines are. Just to get it flexible. Glue the 3/4" to the back side of the second panel at top and bottom, this will be your closures. I rounded the corners on this and the first piece. Place your magnets on the top and bottom of these panels you just put down in the center across.

Now we are ready for mats:

The mats for the accordion pieces are black - 2 3/4"x4 3/4" - white 2 7/8"x4 7/8" and then the patterned at the bottom are 1 1/4x2 3/4".

Mats for the overlapping closures are 2 3/4"x3" you will need 4 of these two for outside and two for inside.

1st flap inside and outside mats are 2 3/4"x4 3/4"

Inside journaling mats is 2"x3" and the mat underneath is 2 1/4"x3 1/4"

The tiny piece inside is cut at 1"x1 1/2", this is the one I stamped on and placed on the 4th panel inside.

Flowers are cut at 13/4", 1 1/2" and 1 1/4"

You can choose to cover the backs of the panels if you want I think I might on the next one.

Thanks so much and don't forget to share with us here:

Creating the A2 Size Album today and adding pockets

A2 Expandable File Folder - Holds A2 Cards

Today on our live we will be creating an A2 size expandable file folder. This will hold A2 size cards and maybe some envelopes. We will not be showing all the cuts on the chipboard or the covering of the chipboard, simply because it is the same concept as the ATC one we did on our video HERE. I do however show you all the measurements as well as photos of the covering process below. Today we will just be focusing on the inside pockets, mats and decorating the outside.

You will first need the following pieces of chipboard, this can be regular chipboard or you can cut cereal boxes and glue two pieces together because you will need these to be strong. I use regular medium weight chipboard on mine.

2 pieces cut at 6 1/2"x6"  - front and back
2 pieces cut at 5"x6"        - top and bottom
1 piece cut at 3"x6"          - front closure flap

In the photo below I have these pieces number as to how they are layed out when assembling.

The outside cover pieces needs to be 8"x301/2". Now as we show in the video linked above for the last one just take your 12x12 paper cut the strips and glue them together to make a piece long enough. Just watch where you put the seams you don't want one of the front. Place the chipboard in the middle of the piece as show here, leaving about 1" of paper all the way around. You can draw a one in line on the bottom and side to make sure you put your pieces together in a straight line. We also show this on the video linked above. MAKE SURE TO LEAVE ABOUT A 3/8" GAB BETWEEN EACH PIECE FOR FOLDING.

Trim the corners leaving about 1/8" between chipboard and the cut and glue the paper over as shown below.

Go over your GAPS between the chipboard with a bone folder just creasing slightly so this will bend easily. Now you are ready to cover the inside. For this you will need a piece of paper/s
5 1/2"x27 1/4", again glue the pieces together to make the paper long enough. Glue this down and again go over the creases to make folding easy.

Mats

The mats for this are cut at the following. You can choose to cover the inside if you want or just the outside. Not sure yet which I will do.

5 3/4"x6 1/2" either 2 or 4 depending on if you are covering inside as well as outside.
5 3/4x5  cut 3
5 3/4x3 3/4 cut 2

Pockets

Cut card stock at 6"x7" score at 1/2", 3/4", 1" on 2 short sides and 1 long side.
The front piece is cut at 5"x5"
Fold the score lines accordion style and trim away the corners as shown in our live as well as in the video linked above. Glue the 5x5 piece on top of the other piece. Creating a pocket.
You may choose to cover these I didn't because very little will show.

You will need about 10 to 12 of these. Put a strip of strong adhesive in the center of each from top to bottom and glue another on this one just making sure to glue in the center so it will expand. Do this over and over until you get the desired number of pockets. Then glue the first and last pocket to the center of the front panel and back panel, leaving about 1/2" at the bottom for expanding.

All of this will be shown in our live today listed here.

Hope you enjoy! E

Measurements:

Start with a piece of cardstock 6x4 inches, score at 1/2" on all 4 sides. Cut up on the small edge score lines and glue the tiny flaps together as we have on other boxes or the crate.

For the corner post cut a piece of cardstock 3/4x2" and score at 3/8"/center.
Fold these in half and glue in place at each corner.

Rails are cut at 1/2x5 you will need 4 of these and 1/2x3 you will need 4 of these. Glue the rails in place on each side matching the corners as shown in the video.

The Tongue on the wagon is cut at 1/2x5 1/2 inches, score in the center at 1/4" and glue the pieces together.
The pull on the wagon is cut at 1/2"x3/4" and is scored in half and glued together. I cut a small corner off on each side to make it look more like a pull for the wagon.

Wheels are cut at 1 1/4" and I cut 4 of these for each wheel and glued them together.
The center piece is cut at 3/8" and you will need 4

Put a sentiment on the side.

Fill with candy or gifts and you have a sweet gift.

Mini Star Book Of Notes, Pinterest Inspried

Mini Star Book of Notes Pinterest Inspired

This little book is quick and easy and uses very little supplies. Use up your scraps and make a ton of these for Christmas ornaments, table favors, stocking stuffers, craft fairs and more. Below you will find the YouTube tutorial as well as the links to products used. Have fun making these.

YouTube tutorial: https://youtu.be/_pNX3ho7a4A

Products Used:

TH Glass mat: http://bit.ly/2vXmrvP
Tim Holtz Scissors: http://bit.ly/2J3lh77
Score Board: http://bit.ly/2NTdtXI
Pick Up Tool: http://bit.ly/2zMUWKx
Art Glitter Glue: http://bit.ly/2FGCXmz
Basic Grey Magnets: http://bit.ly/2K3Hr9M

You will need two pieces of chipboard, these can be cereal boxes, cut at 2x2 inches

Cut 2 pieces of paper for the covers at 2 3/4x2 3/4 inches

Cut 5 pieces of paper for the inside pages 4x4 inches

Fold 4x4 in half one way and then in half the other way. Make one of the squares into a triangle as shown in the video. Make sure if you have a directional paper that this triangle is on the bottom. Go to the opposite square and cut up on the score line, cut about half or a little more of the square away leaving just a small flap, miter the edges of this. This is the flap you will glue. Fold the square that has formed the triangle into the other square, then bring the other whole one over top of the triangle. The little flap should then be ready to glue this together as shown in the video.

To make the cover just glue the chipboard in the center of your cover paper and glue, then fold over the sides of the paper and glue, completely covering the chipboard except on the inside.

Place the pages together and glue making sure all the squares with the triangles are on the bottom. After gluing these together then glue to the front and back covers.

Decorate as you desire, use ribbon or twin to close, or any other typo closure. If you want a ribbon on to make a Christmas decoration then glue it on the inside of the center pages as you glue them together.

Enjoy, E
