The Folding Pop Up Card Box

You will need a piece of card-stock that is 5 1/2"x8 1/2". With the long side across your score board start scoring at 1/2", 2 1/2", 4 1/2", and 6 1/2". Turn to the left one turn, now with your 5 1/2" across the score board, you will score at 3".

Cut 2 pieces of the same card-stock 1"x2 1/2", score each one of these 1/4" from each end. Fold the score lines into a "Z" pattern.

For matting if you want to mat the flaps, you will need to cut the following:

4 pcs 1 3/4"x 2 3/4"  bottom flaps
4 pcs 1 7/8"x 2 7/8"  bottom flaps

8 pcs 1 3/8"x 2 7/8"  top flaps
8 pcs 1 3/4" x 2 1/4" top flaps
